Summary: I went from LHs to McGraw Kaserne in Munich for U. of Maryland classes, then Wheelus AB, Tripoli..where I got married and 4 years later reluctantly left AF life - 3 years into our stay in Loveland, Colorado I went into overload - it was time to rotate and the orders didn't come in!..Anyhow, I was at Yokota AFB, Japan 1953- 55 and Chenault AFB, Lake Charles, LA 55-59; Mildenhall 59-61 and Alconbury 61-62; Wheelus 62-63. I do miss it - my son is career Army, so he has two brats of his own now, and they have a grandmother who can relate!
